Apps Making Application with google maps navigation included

Hi guys,

Im making Android application which should have google maps navigaion included.

For example:
When you enter application, application should let you know what is current location and show you navigation to nearest place that i already defined on my custom google map.

Is that possible? Im amateur in andorid programming and i would like to get some help..
