Help making calls ups screen brightness

Hi there, i keep my screen on the lowest possible brightness setting. But after i make a call, it turns up to %80 or more. I have to turn in back down manually after every call god how annoying. Anyone heard of this? What can i do? Reformat?

I guess you are on Froyo. I remember having this problem but once I upgraded to 2.3.3 it seemed to have gone.
