Making default gallery app - My Device

I'm using f-stop media gallery can you make it default so when you are using the camera and press the gallery icon f-stop will open instead of the stock gallery.

According to their faqs you can. I'm still waiting for an email with my f-stop forums password to see what's being said there. They implemented setting as default back in 2012.

What device do you have? And what camera app are you using? I think this matters because the manufacturer may have hard coded in the gallery app into the camera software rather than making it an intent to open the gallery of your preference.

If you go into your Device Settings > Apps > you should be able to see what defaults are set for which actions and if there is somewhere to clear/create existing settings, this would be it.

Never did get that email back from f-stop. Seems pretty shady but the key did give me the pro version. The settings in the pro version are basically the same as the free but neither has a way to make the gallery work with the camera.

Well it seems there is no need to pay for the pro version. Thanks. I had read it somewhere that fstop can now make it the default app. So glad i asked here.
