Making Droid Eris Themes?

So heres a question, how can I make my own full custom Droid Eris themes? I'm interested in making my own sport team theme and dont wana download the one from the app store, i have that PandaHome app, but how to I make a theme that I can put on my phone through that?....links, suggestions, programs id need, coding at all? Please let me know
