Making your PC a WIFI hotspot?

Newbie
I use a broadband dongle on my Windows 7. I want to expose my laptop as a wifi hotspot so that i can use internet on my samsung galaxy ace.

I have tried Connectify but my chipset is not supported so it simply make the adhoc network. Tried Bzeek. My phone get connected, but no browsing.

Any solution that you guys have? Please let me know. And lets solve this puzzle.

PS: I am in no mood to root my device.
 
android devices do not support adhocs i now its annoying i had the same problem so i switched from a 3 broadband dongle to a 3 mifi dongle

Better use Router... will costs you not much.. enjoy wireless internet connectivity on laptops, tablets and mobiles... belkin is best!
 
Hi tahirakram, do you mobile often with your laptop? If so, better use USB Wireless Router.. TPLink has lot of cheap products with good performance. If you're working from home, try this
