Malty tuch zooming

Dear All
My Android tab OS version is 2.3, most of time I used for reading PDF file. for zoom the page I need touch two times. please advice me how may i zoom using two finger expanding ( I think malty touch)

I need to confirm that malty touch support by hardware or software. my android tab does not support it,

Do you know the touchscreen technology? If it is resistive (has a thin layer over the screen that you press down onto the glass) then it won't support multi-touch.

The Model Number is m799ca v2.0
The main reason is to update my TAB dose not support malty touch
