Help Man I hate this phone.

Kiedis

Lurker
After taking my phone BACK to U.S. Cellular AGAIN today, the tech guy did some clean up thing on my phone. Lost all my apps, etc. Well, two problems now. One is an existing problem, one is a new one. The existing one is that when I am on a call and I get a text message, it'll vibrate in my ear and beep VERY loudly, then 99% of the time hang up on the call. And it's on the vibrate never option, so that's not the problem. The other new problem, is it is taking 10 minutes to send a picture message. 10 minutes, literally. I can't change phones until June of 2012, but I'm considering selling this one and getting a used one. Does anyone have any clue as to what I can do for these two problems? Thanks in advance! P.S. It won't let me cancel the picture message while it's trying to send it.

For your first problem I have never been able to get the phone to not vibrate and/or beep when getting a message while on the phone. I have not however had my phone hang up on the call because of it.

In regards to your second problem make sure you are not on a wi-fi network when sending the picture message or any MMS message for that matter. This also goes for when you receive MMS messages. This is a bug that started with the update to Android ver 2.2. As of now I have not seen a solution to this problem.
