Manage Wifi

Hi. Has anybody got a simple WIFI profile I can steal?

I just need it to tell Tasker to:


Turn on Wifi when screen is on.
Turn off wifi when screen is turned off.
Turn on wifi every 1 hour.

Edit: I seem to have done 1 and 2 above, but having problems getting wi-fi to automatically turn on for a couple of minutes every hour or so. Is this possible?

Yes. Screen off - check for updates every hour or 2 hours between 9am and 11pm.

I have tried to do this by setting up a timed wifi and "repeat every hour" but am not sure it's working.

Turn your mobile data off, send yourself an email and check the phone received it after an hour

Seems to be working. Cheers. Can tasker modify my profile to only turn Wi-Fi off if no data is being downloadeddownloaded

Looks like step 2 does what you need but no time to decipher it for you.
