My question - the simple version:
When you're using your portable hotspot to allow other computers to use your internet wirelessly, is there any way, or are there any apps to show you who is connected? Just basic information/IP addresses/etc...?
Extended version:
So, I have a web server (jboss) on my laptop that I would like to connect directly to with my phone. I cannot create a hotspot with my laptop due to group policies active on it, but I can connect my laptop to a wireless ad-hoc network created from my phone. Problem is, even though the internet is working on my laptop at that time I can not seem to connect back to it from my phone. So I'm seeking some general debugging tools at the very least. Any other advice welcome!
