Managing music/apps with multiple users (on 4.2)

Good afternoon,

So have a shiny new Nexus 7 here ready to wrap up as a xmas present to one of the kids and let the tablet update to 4.2 and am trying to get it all setup now

First account on there was my Google account, thinking this is the "master" account

Setup a secondary account on there for the day to day use by the kids

Downloaded the "Android File Transfer" program for my Mac and noticed that unless I was "logged in" on the tablet this program won't work

it appears there is a separate sand box of data storage for each user, is there no way to share music/movies stored on the device without copying to both accounts?

What is the best way to make sure the kids don't go hog wild in the Google Play store? can we log into the master account, buy apps/books/etc and somehow allow the secondary account to use/read/etc that content?

Thanks in advance... i'm a long time iPad owner but must say I am happy with this 7" Nexus with this new OS on here, it's fast and easy to use (just not setup)

If you download all the apps/music etc to the user account, then switch to the second account, you can add then add the user account details to play and add everything you need to the second account. Or if you dont want games etc clogging up your user account, just download them to the second user account
It doesnt re-download anything it just adds the icon to the second account, that way you dont use lots of memory.
You can add a pin number to the play account so they cant download anything else, but be warned, you need to do this on all users, as it only works on the user you are on at the time.
