So my wife managed to bend the middle of the USB connector along with the pins when she was trying to plug my phone in last night. Need some opinions on which option to go with.
1. Go to Verizon store and see if they will replace it under warranty (New or Refurb). I know they may deny it based just on this but there are things that I've ignored that are known issues that I could show them also. The major ones being the kickstand chipping and the headphone port issue. Neither of these were big enough issues to risk getting a bad phone since mine has been pretty solid, other than restarts.
2. File a claim with Asurion and pay the deductible.
Obviously I would rather go with option 1 and not pay out of pocket and waste a claim. I'm just curious how Verizon would handle it.
