Help Manual update on Nexus 7 through Mac?

I would love to manually update my shiny and new (bought last night) Nexus 7 to 4.2 JB through side-loading. I've got the necessary software, but I don't know how to do it through Terminal on Mac, if it's even possible. Has anyone out there done this before using a Mac? Any help/tips are appreciated.

Sure. It is very easy. Just follow the directions here:

Android 4.2 (Build JOP40C) Rolling Out To The Nexus 7 Now – Manual Download Link Available

Download the update to the same folder you have your adb binary. Follow the steps above to get your N7 to boot into recovery and readied for an update via adb.

Then launch terminal, cd to where your adb binary is and put a ./ before the command given in the article.
