Manually connect to WiFi network & remember password?

How can I manually connect to a WiFi network AND remember my password at the same time?

For example, once I connect to a WiFi network, it remembers my password, BUT it automatically connects to the network. If I tell Android to "Forget Network", it deletes the password too!

Is there an app or some kind of setting I can use to solve this problem?

Why don't you come up with a wifi only password that is easy for you to remember?

use yours or someone elses phone number you know by heart with area code, will make it long enough.

Hold on...why keep pressing "forget network" if you need to connect to it later on? You can save heaps of remembered networks and when it's within range it will conect to it. It's a set-up once and just leave it there system.
