Hey!

I just thought I'd post and say my phone got pushed the update overnight today, despite being rooted.

PdaNet does work on Android 2.3.5 over-the-air update on Samsung Epic 4G (DPH-D700), Sprint. On Laptop I use Windows 7, patched last week, Lenovo t61p. No root required.

Had one scary incident though: After updating phone to 2.3.5 OTA, I plugged the USB to the laptop and the laptop tried to install new drivers! A year ago this same action blocked PdaNet from working, and it took me months to resolve.

So I unplugged the USB, rebooted laptop, ran "Acronis Try&Decide" and plugged in. Updated drivers automatically. Result: both USB disk and PdaNet appear to work fine.

Lesson learned: do a full Windows backup after updating phone to 2.3.5 and before plugging the USB in - because you just might need to pull drivers from the backup.
