Help map wallpaper showing Florida when I never set foot in florida?

Just returned to London from San Francisco and for some reason my wallpapemap is showing Florida? Haven't set foot in Florida.

I think when I was in maps earlier, GPS off, my map showed me in Florida. Now maps shows me in london but the wallpaper won't update to reflect this even when caching when off wifi is on.

I imagine the wallpaper will eventually update for London but any ideas on what's going on here?

no clue, although I will say that 2.3 is very buggy

fwiw, i haven't had very many bugs or freezes 2.31 in the nearly month i've had my nexus s.
