I've had my LG G2 for about a week now, and already had to return it to the store to have the SIM card swapped out. Now it works incredibly, except for Google maps. The VOICE guidance is in Portuguese...
UPDATE: I had to change the default settings in the Language/Input section under Google text-to-speech to English. Working now! Sorry for wasting everyone's time!
