Maps Navigation Icon had changed !

Why has my normal blue triangle navigation icon changed into something resembling a go cart? Running 9.18 on a nexus 6 stock. Please see attachment.

Do you have some sort of Star Wars theme pack installed? That's a tie fighter and an imperial battle cruiser.

No, I don't. But when I disabled Maps, and reverted to the previous build 9.13 (prior to Dec 9) I got the boring blue triangle back when navigating. So I can surmise that this is Google being cute with the latest build. No?

I was looking at this the other day, and played with it for 4 seconds before I got bored.

I inadvertently left the site with Dark Side selected. Never expected it to affect all my G Apps.
Not being a starwars fan, I thank you for clueing me in as to what I was seeing !

From their FAQ:

HOW CAN I RETURN TO MY USUAL GOOGLE EXPERIENCE?
Visit google.com/starwars, click "Change side", drag your avatar back to the center and click "Back to Default" to have your Google apps return to their regular state. Otherwise, your Google experience will automatically return to its regular state by February 1, 2016.
