hi, my name is Marc. i'm from York, PA. I have a Samsung captivate that i rooted. owned it for over a month now, i am very happy with the phone. only because the phone i had before was a LG Shine. so it was a real upgrade.
Only reason i rooted was so i could use the SiriusXM App. It was one of the first apps i tried to download and i was devastated when i found out SiriusXM was a Non-Marketed App. Took days and countless hours of research, searching and trail-n-error to get the drivers to work with Win7 64-bit and to get the computer to recognize the phone but i got it.
So now that i rooted the phone i want to try a custom Rom or something. i dont wanna do it right now though. maybe in the near future though. but all in all, i am looking forward to joining this forum. See Ya!
