Hi Folks,
I am new to Android Forums and would like to seek assistance and suggestions to the very first time of an error that I have encountered on my Android Phone.
I own a Karbonn Sparkle V (1st Gen Android One) phone running Marshmallow 6.0.1 with Security Patch level February 2016. I recently received an OTA for the March 2016 Security patch (size 16.3 MB).
When Installing the update my phone throws the following error which the Android Bot shows 'error' -
"/system/app/GoogleHindiIME/GoogleHindiIME.apk" has unexpected contents.
E:Error in @/cache/recovery/block.map (Status 7)
Installation aborted...
I have cleared all App Data for the apps installed and have 1.73 of 2.02 GB size on my device used. I cannot clear any more as there are no apps left anymore for uninstallation.
The phone is completely unrooted and I am not a big fan of rooting my device.
Please suggest how can I fix this error or whether I should skip this and wait for the April 2016 Security fix as it's April now and I cannot get the April update because of this.
