Help Market / App update issues?

I seem to be having a bit of a problem with the Market and updating apps. Until yesterday everythign was fine, apps that needed updating would be highlighted, the update would be downloaded by hitting the Update button, and everything would download and install automatically.

Then yesterday, one of my apps requested updating, so I did the above. The update downloaded (the green status bar moved across the screen showing the file being received, amd then I got an "installing" notification. However, instead of teh app shifting out of the "Update" area, it stayed there. I then got a warning notification pop up in the toolbar, saying "Rabo CyclingUpdate of APPNAME unsuccessful".

As the Rabobank Team cycling app isn't exactly a hottie, I thought it was just a problem with the app, but today it's doing the same thing, but with my NVIDIA Tegra Zone app too.

Anyone else experience this? Any tips for sorting the problem out?

You probably don't have enough free space. The Iconia needs 1gb free for instance, and I think it applies to all hc tablets.

Hmmm, interesting. 1.15Gb available. Could be it.

Sounds like quite a glitch - or a programming oversight - to me. Presume this issue will be resolved in a later release? I mean, having to keep over 6% of your system memory free just to keep apps updated is a bit daft isn't it?

The only way you can tell is if you regain that space. But also make sure your Market account is your main account (the one you've been using). That's probably not the problem though since the rest of your apps wouldn't show in MyApps if it was. >_<
