Help market for non-free apps!?

nbensa

Hello,

I got a Milestone from Personal Argentina, but I noticed that there are no non-free applications on market, so no dxTop, no rubik's cube (except for a 2x2x2), and I think many more useful apps.

Do I need to do something to have non-free apps or is market country-aware so no non-free apps for Argentina?

Thanks,
Norberto

I've got the same problem here in Belgium. how come?:(

The Android Market (run by Google) needs to 'whitelist' all phones that are allowed to acccess 'protected' apps which includes most, but not all, paid for apps in the Market.

You need to get onto Motorola in your country and the Android Market support. So far, whitelisting seems almost random...!

any idea how to get onto motorola here in Belgium?
I understand what you're saying but I don't know how I should do that

hi, I just found something on the net..
the reason why we don't have paid apps is because in these countries where they have only free apps, there are not yet (or only recently) official android phones on the market. for example here in Belgium are only two android phones recently available by proximus (htc magic and hero) so in the nearby future paid apps will be supported here in Belgium!
