Ok. I'm switching phones and getting a bigger sd card. How can I make sure that the market has a "up to date" list of my installed apps to reinstall on my new phone? Last time I did this it didn't have them all so I had to search and install them again.

They are both checked! Hopefully it works this time. Do you know how to get backup assistant to quit auto uploading my pix to their server?

Go to settings, then scroll down to accounts and click backup assistant to edit what it is backing up. I believe there is a checkbox for photos.

Sorry for not being more specific. My wife's phones uses it but I do not. This is from memory messing around on hers.

Hopefully it should work then.

On your new handset, if there's an option during the initial setup to "restore from Google servers" or similar (can't remember the exact wording, sorry), make sure that is checked and your apps should start downloading. :)
