Market issues.

I am having issues with my android market (the latest version) and everytime i want to open the application, something pops up saying Google sign in with my youtube account, it ask me for my password, but it keeps saying i have the wrong password or that my account has changed. I always put the right password but its still says that its wrong. since it syas my account has changed i though i could log in using my google account or my gmail, but i cant find the option to do that. Can anyone help?

I changed my rom a few times and that started happening to me when i restored apps with titanium backup. I reinstalled rom and tried market it worked. I then restored again and it stopped working again. I tried another rom darkside which doesnt have launcher pro and it worked. I loaded launcher pro because i like it and the market didn't work. so i flashed darkside rom again and market worked again. I don't know if it is a coincident but i deduced that it was launcher pro causing the problem, but i'm no pro at this.

I run launcher pro. It should have no impact on the market.

Carlos - have you verified that you can log into your GMail account on the web? Just to make sure it's not locked/hacked/whatever??

If you can log in on the web, then try this:
-phone's settings
--applications
---Manage applications
----Choose ALL at the top of that,
-----Scroll down, find the market and tap it... Force close it, and then CLEAR DATA

Try going back and launching the market again and see if it logs into your account.

If not, then you may have to remove/re-add your Gmail account in MotoBlur.

Yes i have gone into, my gmail, and youtube account in my computer and can log in on both. Still same password.

Same thing happened to me two days ago. Im running go launcher ex on my atrix. Finally went to the go store app and pressed on a new theme to buy and it took me to the market. Has worked fine so far. Hope this helps

I'm trying to sign into Market, but it has my YouTube Username, instead of my Google info. Where can I change it?

In market, select menu button, then Accounts. If it on;y shows the Youtube Account, you might no longer have the Google Account on the Phone, and will have to go and set it back up.

Google did the stinking converiosn of my YouTube ID to a back-up google Account I had and caused me all kinds of market problems. I still have some of them with the Hotmail Account listed there now, and not sure how to remove it with out removing my Hotmail Mail from the Phone.

They need to go back and un-update the market app to get rid of it finding the other accounts, or let us set a default account for market.
