Help Market not updating

I have rooted it using the latest rom available, and the market is back to its original self. And its not updated....... So how can i update it

After Shabbymod 0.6 my market app was older and didn't update... so I found the .apk for I think Android Market 2.2.6 and download it to my desktop then drag it onto my phones sd card, then went into the file manager on prevail and ran the .apk to install. It will say that it already exist, just click yes to overwrite the old .apk and it will install the newer version of the app... and after reboot my phone the text in the maket app adjusted to better font size. You can find the .apk for 2.2.6 by Google search... whole process took about 5 minutes til total update to 2.2.6

No, they are at 2.2.11 at least but this is a newer version that rolled out around x-mas time... it is very similar to the latest but after searching for the apk 2.2.6 was the easiest I could find so I went with it from 2.1, it is working like a charm and has better font size set on text...

Now I am on Market 3.0.27. Sometimes, it seems to get flubbed up on automatic app updates. They will show up and not go away even after replacing the old app. They will show up at the top of the My Apps List with a status of Update, when they have already updated. Then if I select it, it only gives me the option to open or uninstall.

This may be related to me using Titanium Backup to move users apps to the system area and also incorporate updates into the system area.

I tried moving the app back to user before running the update and then moving it back to system and stuff like that but it still shows up on the update list.

No big deal, but a little annoying.
