Root Market not working

I'm on my phone atm and can't see related topics, so feel free to redirect me.

I'm not sure what's going on, but I can't download or update anything from Google market. The download sits at "starting" and doesn't download. After i cancel it if I go into my apps it still says downloading with no progress and won't let me cancel it.

No Google talk Author failed, i tried wiping dalvik and then fixing permissions in CWM but it sat on fixing permissions for like 5 minutes and I wasn't sure if it was working or frozen because idk how long fix permissions is supposed to take.

Any help, or a point in the right direction?

Mine started acting up yesterday . After re-installing the Market , I was still having issues with other things soooooooo , I said " screw it " (lol) and Odined back and started from scratch . So far , so good ! I took it all the way back to hroark's EE14 rooted version . :D

I just did fix permissions (even though i don't know what it does) and it took about 10mins.
 
Restored to a backup that I made before messing around with market doctor in Titanium Backup(which I suspected to be the problem.) and it's working now.
 
use titanium backup to make a backup of market and market updater
wipe data on market updater with titanium backup
uninstall market updater
go to settings>applications>manage>all>select market>clear data

should take you to old market and works fine for me now!
 
i fixed mine by restoring my phone back to when i first rooted it and then fixing permissions and clearing data and dalvik cache, oh and the other cache wipe choice
