Hello everyone.
I just got my wildfire S last wednesday, and have been toying around with it since - anyway, today I encountered the biggest problem so far. Whatever I try to download from the market, it just starts the download and then suddenly stops briefly showing the text "download unsuccessful". It doesn't even stay in the notifications or anything, just a brief flash of the text. I went through a ton of guides about the problem and tried pretty much everything excluding factory reset, which I wouldn't fancy doing unless it's the only way to fix things.
I don't know if the problems have something to do with updating to 2.3.5., since I did that yesterday and beforehand everything worked really well. Market app seems to be 2.3.6, is there some conflict there? On the other hand, I think I actually managed to somewhat half-update my facebook for android app today, and that's in fact when I found out about this problem. I had some problems with the facebook app, so i decided to uninstall the updates and update it again to see if it began to work - i got a pretty old version of the facebook app, then managed to run one update to a newer one, then this problem came up. As I said, I've tried a whole lot of things people have been suggesting in other threads..
Any help appreciated, cheers!
