Market Problems since Gingerbread 2.3.3 (Desire)

NoOb here long time lurker & 1st time poster

got my Desire from Carphone Warehouse in the UK on o2, so its un-branded nearly 12 months ago

first off here's my phones software info,

here's my problem, ever since ive had the newish gingerbread update from HtcDev ive had a problem with the market,

it won't let me download certain game & apps such as Angry Birds & Skype

the error message i get is

This app is incompatible with your O2 HTC HTC Desire.

now i don't know if anyone else is having this problem or not but is Pi***ing me off, is there away around it other than hard resetting my phone as suggested on HtcUK fb discussion page

I have 2.2 and the latest Market doesnt work. Probably more of a Market problem than a problem with your device.

Currently I have to use my PC to get stuff from the Market...

i've managed to sort it now, i had a content filter on it for some reason,

Market > settings > show all apps
