Help market problems

so, I usually keep my background data off for battery purposes and data usage. I turned it on to get an app and it found 34 updates. ok, fine. but when I clicked on 34 updates found, it went into some super lame mode where it asks me for my google sign in and type the characters crap. well, I have tried my password 100 times and it won't do anything but run me in circles. I even tried to get on google on my laptop and changed the password just in case I had the wrong one, but had no effect. now I can no longer access market. wtf?

I have the same problem. While i dont have a fix i do have a workaround. What i found out is when it does that its trying to log into market with a different account. For me it tries to log in under my youtube acc.

What i have to do is, when it goes between the password screen and the enter these jacked up characters page quickly hit the menu button. then accounts then select the right account.

Mind you, you have to be quick on the draw here. (enter password screen) press enter to get the window to go away and before the next one pops up hit the menu button, (enter what you see with your 3d glasses page) hit enter to make it go away, then quickly hit the accounts button on the meny popup sscreen. (enter password screen is back up now) hit enter to get rid of it and select the correct gmail account. (enter character window is back) hit enter to get rid of it and then market loads.

It just started doing this about a week ago. not sure why yet but that is how i get into market.

The same thing happened to me...it was trying to log into the market with youtube info.

I just deleted my saved youtube login/password info and everything worked fine afterward.

Under [settings] > [Accounts ans Sync]
Select the account and there's a button at the bottom to remove it.

I didn't try to put it back since I don't do much with youtube beside browse anyway. No idea if adding it back will cause the problem to reoccur.

Thanks. I had found that but didn't really want to delete it off the phone, just market. I'm not really sure why market wants to go for that account first since its not the primary. Ill give it a go though cause its a pain getting into market my way lol.
