Help Market - Starting Download Nothing Happens

Hi Guys, I got the wife an apollo and have a few issues with it, well one deffo. The wifi connects ok but no data passes. And the other I think is a google android market problem. Any time you try to download an app it just sits there saying "starting download" has anyone else these issues.

OK a pain in the ass solution. Bear in mind this was a new phone. So if you create a new google account to access the android market make sure you create the account on your PC first if you are in the UK.
NOTE. Make sure you create a gmail.com account and NOT a googlemail.com account. If you have already logged in on a googlemail.com account and experience download difficulties you will need to do a factory reset (and lose your data etc) and start over afresh configuring the phone.

This solved all problems with the phone and although not a galaxy s it is a darn good phone.

i have that problem and I just leave it and eventually it sorts itself
