Root Market won't open. Cyanogenmod RC-2

The story is:

My mother got an upgraded phone using my phone number, so we had to switch numbers, and she didn't tell me she was disabling my phone just yet, so I didn't switch back into sense for the switch to be done, so I had to switch back, and get my data/signal back up. Then switched back to CM RC1...but now the market won't open. So I just upgraded to CM2 and installed the Google Apps package as well..and everything seems to be working, but again the market won't open.

When I click on it the screen flashes blank as if it is about to open...but then it closes out, as if it is force closed. I just tried to download the apk, and install it. Still won't work....

What should I do?! :(
 
Are you getting rid of the phone or just having the service disabled for the time being? You could likely do anything you need to do to the phone through wifi if your sprint service is disabled aside from anything sprint would have to do from their end. You could try wiping everything then reflashing the rom and gapps. Are you running the stock kernel or a different one?

No, I switched back to my Evo, and I have data and signal and 4G working, all fine....just market won't work...

My kernel is: 2.6.37.2-cyanogenmod-01211-gafb399 shade@toxygene #1

try turning the phone into airplane mode and turning airplane off again and see if you can connect then

I've tried that, still won't work, and I've even restarted....gaaahhhh
