Marshmallow (6.0) onTurbo 2

Just installed 6.0 on my Turbo 2 yesterday. Everything seems to be functioning correctly so far. I 'd like to avoid doing a full wipe if at all possible. Anyone noticed any serious bugs, other than the Bluetooth issue mentioned above?

The audio controls were changed in Marshmallow. The only problem I ran into was an app that ran correctly in Lollipop failed in Marshmallow. It was a timer that played a 2sec tone at the end. It worked correctly once. The next time it dropped into an infinite loop playing the tone. The only way to stop it was to exit the app.

The update was enormous and it uses the Cache Partition for the OTA. You should Wipe Cache Partition.

I do a Factory Data Reset after every major upgrade and did one on this one. My recommendation is to do it when it is least inconvenient. It is likely that you will need to do one some time and if you wait it ALWAYS seems to fail when you can't afford the time to deal with it.

is the only reported issues being with toyota and bluetooth? my fiance got the update alert yesterday and is hesitant to try it knowing i had issues with my Note5 and 6.0. i told him that was phone specific, but i would look into this for him. he has a chevy and uses bluetooth so if its an issue, i'll have him hold off until an update is released fixing any issue. the Note5's issue was wifi and BT not being able to work together. if BT was on, wifi became unusable after a few minutes, would drop out and then try to reconnect after a short period.

Just for the record, the Bluetooth issue I encountered is specific to devices running 6.0 and Toyota cars with their Entune infotainment system. Even with the bug, I can still place and receive calls through the car. The only issue is that when text messages arrive, the car displays them as being from an unknown contact, rather than displaying the proper name. It's really a pretty minor issue and more of an annoyance than anything.

It was released as ...
23.31.24 - OTA Update - 2016.03.08
24.14.11 - OTA Update - 2016.03.08

It was quietly put on hold.

It was then released as ...
23.31.24 - OTA Update - 2016.03.08
24.14.12 - OTA Update - 2016.04.22

It should be available in now in the usual manner. Go to Settings/System updates to check/

I have yet to find a statement of the difference between 24.14.11 and 24.14.12.

I also tried through phone "software update", however it did not work. I then went to Motorola website.. found and downloaded from there .
