Marshmallow rollout starts next week

Someone just said LG is available but only in Poland .... no sense

better wait the compatible one

Yes, me in this thread.

It's rolling out for the G4 next week. Nexus and the Moto X Pure have it at the moment.

Re. Poland, it makes sense to roll it out in a smaller market first to see if there are any show stopping bugs they didn't pick up in testing.

I don't really understand what you mean?

I have the h-815 version running here in the States on AT&T.

I should get it much quicker than the at&t models

I believe we also lose root access with marshmallow. I'd prefer it shows up much later, giving time to the g4 gurus to find away to root the US and Canada variants that don't have an unlocked bootloader.

Well if its like the G3 they did a test roll out in Poland first and then we got it in the UK three weeks later. However I have heard they have identified some bugs during the Polish roll out so its on hold at the moment.

This is what I got this morning. Can't remember what Bridge said was available to download, but when you click the Update button it gives you a chance to review the changes before you commit to downloading - top of the changes was "Upgrade to Android OS" (or similar wording)

Oh right yea, thought as much thanks. No mine just says something like functionality improvements. Doubt EE will push MM any time soon anyway.

The list of improvements should be pretty long, its starts off with an upgrade to Android then lists a load of the changes in that upgrade such as battery optimisation.

It then goes on the explain changes to LG software like QuickMemo getting a new name and so on.

I'm rooted running a Sevens last 5.1 ROM. I was hanging fire before updating as I wanted Xposed to work and I was waiting for a less beta version of MM.

Battery life has been utterly pointless for me so hopefully "Doze" will offer some improvements.

Unlocked here in the UK, checked OTA on the phone this morning and got message software up to date. Downloaded LG bridge to laptop and connected phone, hey presto it upgraded to marshmallow. Result, happy new year all.

So I got this update on Sprint a week or so ago. However, now my gmail accounts will not sync unless I refresh it manually. None of the settings have changed. Has this happened to anyone else?
