did this after doing all the suggestions and finally got the OTA coincidence who knows lol but got it thanls BLU8
 
Well, I just got the notification to upgrade to MM (currently on 10L), and I am fully rooted with xposed and the whole deal. No cloaking or hiding root, i might add. So now they are pushing it to everyone, I guess. I'm still planning on waiting, though.
 
I ran a test with the mm ota and changing time and clearing google framework doesnt bring mm ota immediately as ota starts to rollout a certain percentage gets the update because we are in the middle of the rollout more users are getting the update only time you need to change time and timezone is when you download the ota because the servers wont start until 11pm-4am so dont drive yourself crazy reflashing kdz or resetting phone just be paitient that will only put you to the back of the line so to say as far as custom rom im currently working on boot issues got my rom to boot to setup but goes into bootloop when i get halfway through will give eta as soon as i iron that out

I had the same issue as yall. Factory reset within in the phone worked for me, not through recovery. After the small patch.
 
You have to clear LG Update as well to get it to come through immediately if having problems.

Loving the update, no more lag or scrolling issues, well worth the wait imho.

Have root, custom recovery and Xposed - life is good

I don't see why it should, all you're doing is swapping phone versions from that of metroPCS to that of T-Mobile. Essentially making the software believe you're using a T-Mobile LG G Stylo.

Of course it's *always* recommended to unlock your device first and *then* flash the ROM. So when you flash the ROM, your phone can read the metroPCS sim and not block it.
 
Not true, you don't have to unlock your phone from Metro to use the T-Mobile software, it will have T-Mobile bloat but it doesn't affect service and it definitely won't block service.

I wouldn't know hence why I recommended it but hey, that's good to know.
 
Not sure where you got that piece of information, flashing Roms and getting service are unrelated.
 
No, it's safe to flash either software on either of the two variants, no risk of being blocked by carriers.
 
I am on mpcs 10j stock no root. I downgraded from Katana. Every time i try to flash the H63120b kdz file i get a "cannot connect to server" error, as is supposed to be normal. I am using Lg Flash tool , ran as administrator. My phone is in download mode. I am on Windows 10. I have also installed the lg drivers and H63120 kdz is in the folder with i made on my desktop with all the files from the lg flash tool zip. Does anyone know if I am in error? If so how do I fix it. My phone still works, and didnt go passed 0% in download mode. I pulled the usb cable and battery, and started it right back up. I also enabled usb debugging OEM unlock and set my yime to 11 pm.
