That's the price you pay for not going with a Nexus device. One's add or take away what they want.

To be honest, the Google now launcher is Google launcher and has it so why not use it?
 
Other features of marshmallow are missing like the adoptive storage.

I guess Sony just don't feel that the vertically scrolling app drawer suits their UI?
