Do you have the software update menu?
Usually it's in "Settings / About / Update Center"

1. Download and install http://kidapso.com/auto-root-tools/
2. Connect your device to the PC and wait for Auto Root to detect it
3. Select the version you want from the drop menu
4. Press start and let everything run it's course
And you're all done.

Hello!
I've always been leery of root tools such as this. Have you had success with doing it?
...and why is rooting an upgrade path (other than via a custom ROM which the OP didn't specifically mention)...?

I personally have never used it, but it's always been in the back of my mind as a last resort. It could be potentially unsafe, but it's the only thing I know that promises results with a Y6 Pro

Did some research and came to know that there are nougat custom ROMs available for your device ,so first of all check whether there is a official update provided or not ,go to settings >about phone and check system updates
