So in the application I am currently developing, I have a couple of activities that load quite a few high res images, (30 or so). I'm using Glide and CenterCrop for loading the images, which is all fine and dandy.
But I've found that my LG G4 is using huge amounts of memory compared to either of the nexus devices(nexus 5, nexus 10) I am developing with and also the samsung device(s5).
After navigating throughout the app and the different activities I'm getting to around 175 - 200 MB of heap usage on all of the devices, except the G4 I'm getting around 450+ MB heap usage.
Is there anything obvious I'm missing that would lead to such a difference? Is it potentially display pixel density differences?
