To hell with that. I would rather kill the people who fight dogs than kill the dogs any day.

Abusing something that has no way to stand up for itself is total bullshit and the person doesn't deserve to live. Same goes for child abusers and wife beaters.
 
Thread reopened as the dev requested it and it seemed like a reasonable request.

This is a limited time/download count beta, so the game will go up and down on the market as we work on different aspects of the game like multiplayer fighting, game engine tweaks, optimization, etc.

Alright, so aside from this thread, there doesn't appear to be much in the form of directions on the game at the developers website... which sucks because I have some how to questions.

Also, for the record, the in game "chat room" seems to be filled with nothing but horny thug kids trying to hit on other horny thug kids with what would to appear to be a females name... lame.
 
@zerocool -> Don't you worry. There will be ways for animal lovers to try to get their revenge in the game.

@MackDaddyRich -> What do you have questions about? This is the place to ask them.

@k.a.o.s. -> Steroids are used up automatically by the game engine. Although we have been a little distracted recently by all the bad press... remember, this is still a beta and in addition to adding in new features and complexities, things like this are being tweaked. People seem like they want 'roids to get used up faster... we can do that! :)

Michael Vick (the real Michael Vick) is probably hating you right now! His name is negatively back in the press whether he likes it or not. :p

Anyways, why don't you give the dogs superpowers and/or weapons. Or have them talk like humans so people will realize it's a game. :) Though, I did not download your game, I dislike it when people blame games or music or movies thinking that it's the number one reason for murder rates going up, robbery, drug use...etc.
 
Help, I sent an email earlier, with a automatic response, I ordered the loot and it won't download to my phone, it says the email address is incorrect.

I feel like you are taking this way too seriously. It's a video game...as far as we know, the birds in Angry Birds could be exotic birds with no intention of foul play until American bird enthusiasts netted them and forced them into slingshot captivity.

A reputation of being inherently violent and aggressive... a reputation responsible pit bull owners like myself fight every day to falsify while people go out and download games that encourage, glorify and promote the same things that ruin the breed and their reputation. Numerous counties have outlawed pitbulls, and many more are jumping on the band wagon. When you look around you and there's not a single pitbull left, be happy, you'll still have your game.

and YOU, I have a pitbull and am perfectly okay with this game. IT'S A GAME. Do you know how many million women are forced into illegal sex trade daily? How about the ways insurgents are maimed and tortured as well? In grand theft auto, the amount of hookers (sex-workers) that are killed in that game is astronomical yet it still gets released to MILLIONS of players and is widely regarded as one of the best video games of all time. In call of duty, the faceless iraqi insurgents that are killed in the creative ways is insane! There was even a game that came out recently called Bulletstorm that PROMOTED creative ways of maiming and killing the bad guys...and there were HUNDREDS. Get over yourself and realize that just because something is fictionalized and put into a video game (on the android market no less, which isn't going to get NEAR the mass appeal that an xbox of even xbox arcade game would get) doesn't mean that you have to be 'sick' to play it. I'm completely fine in the head and i've played ALL of these games. I'm able to differentiate and most people are too.
 
im on the same page as mackdaddy, i have numerous question about how this game really works but when i go on the shoutbox all you see are young kids talking about having sex and how they gonna whoop somebodys a**. i want to know why do i have to use steroid shots each time before i can win a fight? and the payout is less than the price of the steroid shot, so its a no win situation. and i guess the only way to get alot of wins is to pay the $10 for all the cash and adrenalinen shots. which doesnt seem fair.
 
I'm not against dog fighting. I'm not against violence against humans or animals but i do love dogs and I do hate to see them hurt. Dogs are used for many things and killing each other is pure sport. To each their own of course. The niche is there for a game like this, however twisted.

DogWars has been changed to KG Dogfighting! It is on sale for a short period, so grab it while you can. To our existing players, we have some major updates that are in the process of being released and we launched a few more products on the market tonight.

alkatrazzz, sorry for missing this message. Hopefully you have emailed or tweeted and got this resolved long ago with us. We had an update dated after this that should have definitely taken care of any issues. If not, please let me know by email and we will take care of you ASAP! Hope you are still enjoying the game!

It's just a game... but i cant help but get the feeling that it's aimed at the sort of people who do this sort of thing in real life, or would do given half a chance - so it's not something i'd ever want to play just because i'd never want to be associated with that sort of scumbag.

Not saying that's necessarily the case for every game, i mean, otherwise everyone who plays an FPS would be a psychopath, right? Maybe people will play this game just to say a big 'f*** you' to political correctness. Or maybe the gameplay's fantastic - and a little controversy never hurt sales did it? ;) But let's say there was a paedophile game where the aim was to groom and sexually abuse children: Hey, it's just a game - but would you feel comfortable if it was on your babysitter's phone?

Maybe it's just the difference between something being niche and mainstream. Maybe if everyone was playing dogfighting games it wouldnt be a big deal. *shrug*.

On a semi-related note. Has anyone else ever realised that the pokemon games are basically just illegal dog fighting simulators but with different graphics overlaid on top of them?

Thanks for your input. It is amazing how many people try to make the jump to a pedophile game with us... if you email me, you will see the autoresponse that we have had up since April for the thousands of PETA people and media contacts with have had. You will probably find the words interesting.

As far as the pokemon game, yes. It is very difficult to decide where to draw the line and we are comfortable as a company with where we have. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, though - that is what makes the world go round. If we all drove the same car, ate the same food (in many parts of the world dogs are seen as food no different than a chicken in the US), had the same religion, wore the same clothes, and took the same risks the world would be a very boring place.

We will be releasing another game later this summer that you may be more interested in... no, it is not Gerbil Wars... yet ;)
 
i get a message from the pitboss saying i have to get 5 wins vs his bait dogs but idk where to go to find the bait dogs... can someone help me please
