Root Maximum Overclock for Droid Bionic

Pretty basic. I found the rooting instructions online and am about to root my phone. I already purchased set CPU for a previous device. Anyway does anybody know the maximum processor kernel available? I would think 1.5 to 1.7ghz would be childs play for this duel-core cpu. If anybody has any info on the max overclock I'm interested on how well it works

So far I don't think any of the overclocking apps have been updated to support the Bionic, I could be wrong, but I have not seen any of them updated or threads anywhere else that anyone was overclocking yet.

The actual maximum overclock will be different between devices. One person getting 1.5Ghz stable does not mean someone else with the same phone will get that kind of frequency and stability because of the way processors are manufactured. Being dual core or not doesn't necessarily increase the frequency it is able to overclock to either.

Somebody correct me if I'm wrong but last I heard the bootloader was still locked, so until somebody clears that hurdle theres no overclocking because you can only use the stock kernel.. you can use setcpu to throttle down though

Could you show me where theyve done this with the Bionic, because like I said last I had read there's no oc yet, custom injected kernel on the Droid X is nice for them but for us ,ive only seen stock. Cool if they can somehow get around the bootloader but the consensus I've seen is that's what they were waiting on

The Droid x was only able to be overclocked because they had a development phone to mess with to get the files necessary.
