Help MAXX charge time

I recently received a RAZR maxx. It seems whenever I charge it that it it takes forever, now.I know it has a huge battery, but around 45 minutes for around 10% no matter what charger I use is a bit ridiculous, now this is when im not using the phone at all.

When im even mildly using it to browse or whatever, it drains faster than it charges.

Now is this normal or is there something wrong with my phone?

Are you using the charger that came with the phone?
Many other chargers can not keep up with the Razr or the Maxx.

Keep in mind that the battery only reports in 10 percent increments until it is below 20 percent.

But Something might not be right. My phone charges in roughly 3 hours from 15 percent. And I can use it at the same time with no difference. I use my nexus charger since u don't have the original charger.

Hi Dysnomia,
Hope the problem got solved? I never had that issue. Have you let it drained completely and then charge to 100%? The charging should keep up with the usage. I used to charge on the car using GPS/Navigation and streaming Google Music for three hours straight and the battery would at minimum remain the same. It does take longer to charge than a regular phone with a regular battery, but as carracerz14 stated, three hours is about the time for it to charge to 100%. Also, this battery will last hours even when showing a 30% or 20% left on it. Maybe the charger, cable going bad?
