Help Maxx hd and bedside click

I purchased the dock to use my phone as my alarm clock. At first I could use the beside night clock in the dock. Now I'm just getting errors. Has anyone figured out how to get it to work? I'm well aware if the issue Google play has on it... But since jelly bean rolled out you can pick what media device you want. I chose winamp.. And it still crashes until I reset all Google Music data

This was pointed out to Motorola during the soak test and they decided to push the update out without fixing it. Kinda lame IMO.

When you plug in your charger, select the "dock type" and choose "other" IIRC. Choose the "clock". You will at least have the clock now, without the other choices of the bedside dock. It will dim and if you long press, it dims the background very dock with a nice bluish clock. I actually kind of like it now after the aggravation of losing the other dock.

Is there any update on this? I'm getting awful tired of having to restart my phone every time I plug my phone into the smartcharger. I clear the cache from Google Play Music often and still get errors. Frustrating.

This was happening to me too. You have to go into your list of apps to Google Play and uninstall the updates. My bedside clock function is working perfectly again.
