Maxx Lollipop Confirmed

Google just confirmed that the 2013 Droid Maxx will get Lollipop.

Motorola has just informed everyone of their upgrade plans for Android Lollipop. Now we already knew that they were looking for a repeat of last year, which was to get the new version of Android out to their phones before everyone else, even the Nexus. And it appears that they are serious about it this year. Motorola has already informed us which of their phones will be getting Android Lollipop. Those are the Moto X (1st and 2nd Gen), Moto G (1st and 2nd Gen), Moto G with 4G LTE, Moto E, Droid Ultra, Droid Maxx, and Droid Mini.

Awesome.... I wonder how much better the maxx will perform with lollipop?! Gotta admit that the turbo has me salivating!

I know it's going to be a while before the maxx gets it, but what I'm looking forward to most is a return to long-term battery that the phone had on jellybean. Hopefully that's part of the lollipop deal for the maxx....
