MAXX vs. Nexus Extended Battery size comparison

Some pictures of my Droid RAXR MAXX next to my co-worker's Galaxy Nexus with the 2100mAh extended battery from Verizon (making the Nexus slightly thicker as well).

MAXX has a slight edge on the Nexus w/Extended battery.

Note: I flipped the Nexus upside down because the Nexus has the larger bulk at the bottom, the MAXX has it's bulk at the top. This way I could get a more true comparision.

Note2: You can't really tell in these pics, but the width on both phones is the same. The MAXX just looks wider because the Nexus has rounded corners.

A slight edge? Considering the difference in the capacity of their batteries, the MAXX has a huge edge.

I meant in depth. The MAXX is slightly thinner than the Nexus with an extended battery.

For battery life, yes, it has a considerable edge.

I just compared the stats on the VZW website using their compare feature.

Stock, maxx vs sgn, the weight is exactly the same! Very impressive!
