Okay folks, I had a CWM backup deleted from an SD card but was able to recover it. The size seems about right but of course some of the files are corrupted. Worse yet the original folder is missing the date and as ya'll know, CWM won't restore it for that alone (as I've experienced anyway.)
However I was able to open the data file in notepad and compared it to another data file from a backup that didn't have any issues, and they both looked similar. As in, the data file from the deleted SD card looks normal. Now of course that means squat as it could still be fudged, but I'm curious about something...
Is it possible to integrate that data file with another backup? Now I took a normal backup that restores just fine and replaced that data file with the one from the recovered one. Naturally there was an MD5 mismatch. But, back to my question, is there anyway to at least "integrate" the recovered data file with a backup that restores fine?
Thanks for the help!
