I tried rooting with king root and got the binary code blocked by frp and of course hindsight is 20/20 , I now know I should have turned it off first. Is there anything I can do?..

Hello and welcome!
Well, I don't know what that frp thing means, but I'm sure you can flash the firmware back.
Go to Sammobile.com , search for your model number, find the most recent firmware for your carrier/country etc, and it will give you instructions on how to flash it.
You flash the firmware via a computer program called ODIN, while the device is in download mode and connected to the computer.
If you need any help doing so, just holler!
Edit: oh, I need to add, flashing the firmware will wipe your device. I don't know what state it's in now, but just letting you know.
