One of my children has swiped my phone with the dot grid too many times. Now my phone is locked down and I am expecting an urgent call and I am in panic mode can anyone help? I've tried battery drain and calling myself....nothing

Please specify what type of phone you have, since they're a lot of ways to factory reset phones. Oh an you can just edit your post to update them Kinda looks neat and tidy when you do.
