I have upgraded my phone to 2.3.5 and since then my phone has been obsessively doing media scans and its getting nerve recking, is there a app or something I can download to turn it off?

there is a program call Rescan Media. i used it for a week but then it wouldnt recognize my audio... but i am gonna try rescan media root, by the same person. hopefully that will help. i will let you know once i am certain
