It has NOT been this way from the beginning. When I am listening to music or playing a game, the sound will stop after a notification sound. If the screen is off like when I am playing music, then pushing the power button will start the sound again when the screen comes on. Any ideas?

Help media sound stops after notification

Today it started working correctly again. I don't know what changed. I rebooted a couple of times yesterday and the problem remained. This morning it was still doing the same thing: Every time an email comes in my music stops until I toggle the screen on or off. Then an email came in and my music kept playing. Out of no where it just starts working again.
