Help Media storage problem

Ok, my girlfriend has this phone and it will not store music downloads or pics and video to the mini sdcard. Just for starters, has anyone else with this phone, or any other phone, experienced this before? If not, maybe someone can help anyway. It has an 8gb card mounted.

Best option to take is to use directory bind.

This is for the galaxy S3, but it works fine for the stellar. Make sure you do not bind the entire directory as it would likely not work.

For example, most games use the obb folder under the android folder. Binding the entire android folder would most likely break any game as it did for me.

You may need root for this not really sure though.

thanks, I'll keep that in thought, not sure if there's something else wrong yet. I was able to save a pic from browser, to a folder of my choosing using opera browser. I saved it in LOST . DIR I still cant see why music won't store to the card. If i tap on myfiles in app drawer there is two folders ext sdcard and sdcard. nothing is in ext sdcard except lost,dir whisch is where i put that pic. the other folder, sd card is where all other folders are such as camera pics and music download. I can unmount card , take it out and look and all music is still there and usable on the phones internal storage. Its weird I've never seen this before but then i've only been using about 4 different phones from froyo to gingerbread and now ICS. So should i still be looking into directory bind?
