I have tried auto syncing playlists from MM to my Samsung Galaxy S2 but this does not work, the songs all appear on my device but only some of the playlists do. When I try

Same issue with me except that with auto sync, I don't see any playlist at all. I am syncing iplaylists that were imported into MM from itunes. I read somewhere it will however do this for m3u playlists. I will try this and see...

I had the same problem and the root is that MM thinks the phone wants .pla files. This will work if you use the stock music player but I found the tracks to be in reverse order so pretty much useless to make a playlist this way.

The best solution I have found is to put your Galaxy S II in mass storage mode so it doesn't use MPI mode. Go enable the setting in the Wireless and Networks menu under USB utilities. Then I just auto-sync MM to the specific drive letter corresponding to where you want the music and playlists (internal or uSD). It works great and you end up with m3u playlists that work with any player like Amazon or Winamp. The only funny thing I had to do was to manually add the drive letter in media monkey under the configure remote devices menu.

Hope it works as well as it did for me.
