Help MEEP

I'd like to know if the MEEP Tablet needs to be added as an Android device to existing cell phone contract. Is this a regular Android Tablet or does this fall under a special area because it's geared for kids? Would you also need to add a data plan, because there is a MEEP Store to buy apps. New to Android devices, this would be the 1st our family would own.

Welcome to the forums, JGDRZ1! :hello:
Appears the MEEP tablet is wifi only so you wouldn't be able to add it to a Cellular Data Plan. In terms of buying apps or other content, I'm not sure if it has access to the Google Play store, so you'll likely have to have an account with MEEP.
Also, this isn't root related so I've moved it to the regular MEEP forum. Cheers!

I have a Meep. It only connects through wi-fi or usb. It comes with directions to a "Parental Controls" website where you can adjust everything. This is also where you can access Google Play. Be aware that the content blocker prevents a lot of apps from being compatible.

Hello, from Meep! The Meep does not have the ability to use 4G, it's all wi-fi- no SIM card. I'm not sure that all that many apps are 'blocked', though I know sometimes videos with Ads can be.
